Meet Amy Rahhal, our founder

I have over 20 years of clinical experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship problems, and divorce struggles. I’m relaxed and easy to talk to and ask thought-provoking questions that help think through issues without being judgmental. Helping people is my passion and I enjoy seeing clients feel better.
I have multiple specialties focusing on children, youth, and families. I also completed an externship in couples counseling emotionally focused therapy (EFT). In addition to other effective techniques to meet client’s needs, I utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and emotional interviewing (MI). It’s hard to know where to set boundaries, as ‘helping’ those we love can often hinder their growth. Do we let go or is that a cop-out? I can help you take small steps towards effective changes.
Are you tired of your responses to situations and people? Learn to be proactive, gain control of your reactions, and decrease defenses such as anger, people-pleasing, perfectionism, and isolation. Don’t continue to be driven by self-defeating beliefs or impulses and learn what “The truth will set you free” can mean for your life.
